I’ve tested and compared quite a few 99% ethanols over time for both perfumery and tincture work, and this is genuinely one of the better ones I’ve used.
The quality feels very clean, stable, and consistent, with far less harshness or unwanted odor compared to many other high-purity ethanols on the market. That matters a lot when working with delicate perfume raw materials, natural extracts, vanilla tinctures, oud tinctures, and medicinal herbal preparations where the solvent itself can easily interfere with the final aroma.
I’ve been using it for perfume raw material dilution, tinctures, accords, and general perfumery lab work, and it performs exactly how a proper high-grade ethanol should. Materials dissolve well, evaporation feels clean, and the final result stays bright and transparent without muddying the scent profile.
For anyone serious about perfumery, apothecary work, tincturing, or botanical extraction, this is excellent material to work with.
Very happy with it and honestly, after using this, I wouldn’t buy my ethanol anywhere else.
Thank you Enterprise Solvents TEAM!!!!
Dear Wael,
Wow, thank you so much for this incredibly detailed and thoughtful review — it truly means the world to the entire Enterprise Solvents team! 🙏✨
Coming from someone with your level of experience across perfumery, tincture work, and botanical extraction, this feedback is incredibly valuable and we couldn't be more proud. You've articulated exactly what we aim to achieve with our 99% Ethanol — clean, stable, consistent, and pure enough to let your raw materials shine without interference.
It's particularly gratifying to hear that it performs beautifully across such a wide range of applications — from delicate perfume raw material dilution and oud tinctures to vanilla extracts and medicinal herbal preparations. That level of versatility and reliability is something we work hard to maintain with every batch.
Thank you for putting our product through its paces so rigorously and for sharing your experience so generously. Comments like yours remind us why we do what we do.
We're honoured to be your go-to ethanol supplier and we look forward to supporting your craft for a long time to come!
Ordered from here more than once, both times the delivery turn around was exceptional & product meets expectations. Would use again.

Hi received this in good timing service is good but i did not get a full 5litre when i was making my tincture i noticed that i did not receive 5litre but less .
Dear Asriel,
To provide assurance that your product is correct and to eliminate any uncertainty, I have outlined the relevant details below.
I have confirmed your order details with our operations team, and I can confirm that the order was prepared correctly. The density of absolute ethanol is 0.7894, therefore 5 L equates to approximately 3.947 kg of product.. All products are weighed during preparation to ensure accurate volume, and your order was recorded at 3.96 kg using specialised, calibrated scales. This corresponds to 5.02 litres, which is within the correct specification.
Please also note that chemical and agricultural (Agri) containers are intentionally manufactured with additional headspace—anywhere from 500 ml to 700 ml—to allow for safe expansion of the contents, as solvents produce favours during temperature fluctuations, This prevents container deformation, pressure buildup, and potential leakage. While these containers appear larger, we always fill them to the correct nominal volume (1 L, 5 L, 25 L, etc.), regardless of the extra headspace built into their design.
This is also fully aligned with compliance and packaging regulations.
Chemical and agricultural standards require that containers include sufficient headspace to ensure safe transport and storage. SANS, UN transport regulations, and Dangerous Goods (DG) packaging codes all specify that packaging must allow for thermal expansion of the contents. Filling a container beyond its designated nominal volume, or using the headspace as part of the fill volume, would constitute a non-compliance with these regulatory requirements.
