Dear Kgaps Luxury Fragrance,
Thank you for letting us know you’re not getting the results you expected. I understand how frustrating that can be.
First, the key point I’d like to clarify is that our 98 % ethanol and our Diffuser Base are two separate products with very different formularies:
Why can one oil disappear while another lasts for weeks in the very same base product?
Every essential or fragrance oil has its own cent strength, volatility curve, and viscosity. Because of that, the correct dosage range is most likely oil-specific rather than base-specific.
Oils that are heavy resinous notes (like frankincense or sandalwood heavy blends) may only need a 7 % load, whereas lighter single-fragrances (fresh citruses, florals) may take 15 – 20 % to achieve the identical perceived longevity.
When dosage is too low for the given oil, the mix/blend will evaporate before enough fragrance is left to carry the scent.
We suggest implementing a controlled titration schedule, systematically testing incremental concentration levels tailored to the specific essential or fragrance oil in use.
